Brenda Pewitt Sanchez, a native of Shelbyville, Tennessee, began her career in skincare as a licensed aesthetician. Her work with holistic based skincare increased her desire to further her education to better serve her clients. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Middle Tennessee State University. She has been with the Skin and Allergy Center since 2009. As she worked under the supervision of Dr. Chris Robb and Dr. Ben Hayes, increasing her knowledge of dermatology, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing at MTSU. She now practices as a nurse practitioner seeing all aspects of general and cosmetic dermatology.

She is Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and the Dermatology Nurses Association. She enjoys cooking for her family and close friends, swimming, and traveling.
