WHAT IS MYELLEVATE®?

Dr. Gregory Mueller, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills created the MyEllevate® procedure.  It minimizes platysmal bands (two strips of muscle that run vertically down both sides of the neck) and enhances the neck and helps define the jawline.  The ICLED® light guided suture system is utilized to allow the surgeon to place a suture suspension underneath the skin without incisions.  The sutures shape and elevate the soft tissue in the jaw and neck region providing a more youthful appearance.  NO incisions or skin removal is required.  This significantly reduces the amount of downtime allowing you to resume normal activities within just a few days.  MyEllevate® can be done as a stand-alone procedure or with other facial rejuvenation treatments to provide enhanced results.

How Does It Work?

MyEllevate® is an innovative procedure allows you to get the results you are looking for without undergoing an invasive surgical facelift.  You can refresh your facial appearance without missing a beat from your busy life.  The MyEllevate® procedure utilizes a “suture suspension system.”  This lifts and repositions facial areas that have started to droop and sag as part of the natural aging process.  It dramatically reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and leaves the face looking refreshed and youthful.

Am I a candidate for MyEllevate®?

You may be an ideal candidate if you:

MYELLEVATE® PROCEDURE

Photos are taken and in most cases, a medication is given to help you relax.  In the procedure room you will be given ProNox™ nitrous oxide to further relax you.  At that point, the skin is cleansed.  If platysmal bands are present, they are marked and injected with local anesthetic.  Three small holes are made and the bands divide using the ICLED kit.  Additional local anesthetic is injected and tumescent fluid placed.  FaceTite, AccuTite or Renuvion is performed and in some cases, liposuction of the neck is performed.  The suture suspension is placed and a neck wrap is administered.  

Recovery is 24-48 hours and your discomfort post-procedure should be minimal.  The neck dressing is removed the following day and a neck collar is used at home for about a week.
